The mod AIX has released a new patch 2.0. AIX is great fun with new guns, airplanes, maps and arrmies and so on. For me as a Swede it's fun that there even are a few older swedish aircrafts in the game, Viggen and Draken.

I used to have AIX on my PC and you are right johan, it is good fun. The aircraft are much more powerfull compared to BF2.Love the guns on the A10. I installed it mainly to practice chopper flying and using TV missiles, but discovered there are no choppers in it...!!!
I then tried the single player mod BF2ALL64 / BFSF64 which is also great fun. You get all the BF2 and SF maps (full 64 size) and they are fully populated. Madness !
For practice in choppers it is excellant as you can fly to a position then swap seats to the gun to use guns and TV, then swap back to pilot to return to base to repair/rearm.
Same goes for jets and jet/bombers.
It is also handy getting to know maps.
